Truth can sometimes be stranger than fiction and that is what exactly I discovered while uncovering the mysteries behind luck symbols and trying to separate facts from fiction.

A good luck charm is an object i.e. good luck figures, good luck jewellery, amulets, lucky gemstones, talismans, yantras etc. These objects are believed to provide good luck to a person and bring positive changes in life.
While most call it a silly superstition, but there are numerous people who are ready to swear by their luck charm and the positive change the charm has brought in their life. There are plenty of instances where fortunes have changed for a person on possession of a good luck charm. continue

Some call it superstition, others call it plain stupidity but people who get benefited call it Magic.
It is believed symbols emit positive energy that brings positive changes in the life of the person carrying it .
If you want to try it just keep a picture of the symbol near you it can be on your desktop, a wall hanging or even in your wallet.
Shenu : More commonly known as a cartouche. The shape represents a loop of rope in which a name is written. This is an ancient Egyptian symbol and it protects the name written inside it from all evil influences of the cosmos. This symbol is used to protect yourself from enemies and evil influences.
Tiet : Egyptian symbol that represents welfare of life. The symbol is used to create all round happiness in life.
Fu : one of the most popular Chinese characters used in Chinese New Year. It is often posted upside down on the front door of a house or an apartment. The upside down fu means good luck came since the character for upside down in Chinese sounds the same as the character for came. The symbol is used to generate good luck
Lu – Chinese symbol of prosperity and wealth. It is a popular feng shui symbol and it is believed to bring wealth and prosperity in the home. This symbol is used to usher in wealth and prosperity in a home.
Shou: Chinese symbol of a long life. Displayed in homes, it is supposed to bring healthy and long life to the occupants of the home. This symbol is used to provide occupants of the house with a healthy and a disease free life.
Ji – It is a lucky Chinese symbol to remove all difficulties from life. This symbol is often used in feng shui to end and eradicate problems and difficulties in the life of the occupants of a home.
Choku Rei : A strong reiki symbol that generates healing powers in a person. The symbol is commonly used by reiki masters but people also use it to remove disease and have a healthy life.
The parasol or umbrella: A Buddhist symbol .Umbrella protects people from the different elements, like the sun or the rain. Shree: A Hindu symbol of wealth and money. The symbol is used to bring wealth and prosperity.
Aum : most universal of Hindu symbols and its sound is used in meditation. In Hinduism, the word “Om” is the first syllable in any prayer. More specifically, Om is used to symbolize the universe and the ultimate reality. The symbol is used to align a person with universe, protect from evil influences and provide happiness.
Shree Yantra: A Hindu symbol also called the Shri Chakra, this symbol is characterized by nine interlocking triangles that radiate from a central point. Of the nine, the four upright triangles represent the masculine side or Shiva; while the five inverted triangles represent the feminine, or the Shakti (Divine Mother). Traditionally seen as symbols in flags, heraldic shields and banners in Medieval Europe, this power symbol is now used to signify other things. The symbol is used to create supremacy and to rule.
Caduceus:Used as a good luck symbol in Egypt, India and ancient Greece, this emblem was said to ward off sickness, quarrels, and bring peace to any situation. The wings represent those on on the feet of Mercury who was the messenger of all the Greek gods. The snake symbolism speaks of the balance between good and evil.This symbol is used to diffuse evil influences in life
Keys: Three keys worn together are said to unlock the doors of 1) wealth, 2) health, 3) love. The ancient Greeks used one key as a symbol for knowledge and life. A gold and silver key crossed is a papal emblem of authority and translates to mean the “keys to the kingdom of heaven.”.The symbol is used to solve problems in life.
Elephants : Placed on shelves or doorways, they are supposed to give luck and longevity. Give the trunk of the elephant a quick stroke whenever you feel you need a little extra help when negotiating a deal, taking a test, starting a journey or to add happiness and longevity to your household. This symbol is used to provide strength and stability in life.
